ROMA TRASTEVERE STATION, Rome

The property is in the Portuense area, just south of Trastevere, with a bus stop immediately outside and the train station a short walk away. This makes getting to the Roman Forum (3 km), Colosseum (4 km), and central attractions straightforward without a car. The neighbourhood is quiet at night despite the transport links, and a supermarket, shops, and over eight restaurants are within a 5-minute walk. The walk to the historic centre takes 30-40 minutes via a route passing coffee shops and local landmarks. Fiumicino Airport is 21 km away, reachable by a 20-minute regional train ride costing around €7.

The property focuses on practical accommodation rather than recreational amenities. For leisure, the location provides easy access to Rome's historic attractions and the ability to walk to the city centre or use public transport. The quiet street and neighbourhood are suitable for relaxed evenings after a day of sightseeing.

The homestay offers practical services including private check-in/out, a lift for easy access, and full-day security with key access and fire extinguishers. Internet is free throughout. The host provides an invoice and can assist with late check-in requests. Luggage storage is free after checkout, allowing guests to explore the city further before departure. No parking is available, and pets are not permitted. The building has a washing machine in some rooms, and housekeeping is handled by the host, who is noted for responsiveness and flexibility regarding guest needs.
