ROME AS YOU FEEL - VATICAN TERRACE APARTMENTS WITH VIEW, Rome

Located 2 km from St. Peter's Basilica, the apartments sit in a quiet area just outside the busy tourist core. The building is on a hill, so reaching the Vatican on foot takes around 20 minutes downhill; the return walk is uphill. A bus stop directly outside the building (including the 916 line) provides frequent, affordable transport to Campo de' Fiori, Piazza Navona, and other central sights. Fiumicino Airport is 24 km away, and the neighbourhood itself has supermarkets and a few restaurants within a 5-minute walk. Free street parking is available for those arriving by car.

Each apartment offers an open-plan, airy layout. The key draw is the large private terrace or balcony with direct, illuminated views of St. Peter's Basilica and the Villa Doria Pamphili gardens. Units include a fully equipped kitchenette (microwave, refrigerator, stovetop, dishwasher, electric kettle, cookware), a washing machine, a sitting area with a flat-screen TV, and a comfortable double or sofa bed. The private bathroom features a large shower. Air conditioning is installed in all rooms and is especially welcome during summer. The one-bedroom apartment also includes a full-length mirror. Some units are studios. The apartments are well-maintained and match the photos, though some may benefit from additional utensils and dishware. The residential location ensures quiet nights, and the overall feel is spacious and luminous.

The property does not have a restaurant or offer breakfast. However, every apartment features a full kitchenette with a microwave, refrigerator, stovetop, dishwasher, kettle, and cookware, making self-catering straightforward. Several supermarkets are within a short walk, and two restaurants (Grecco Enjoy and Delizie Del Palato) are just 0.5 km away. The neighbourhood also has cafés and pizzerias where a quick meal is easy to find. For those who prefer to cook, basic staples like oil, coffee, and tea have been left in the apartment by the host.
