The hostel is set on a quiet street in Condesa, a desirable area known for its tree-lined avenues and café culture. Chapultepec Forest and castle are 2 km away, and the Angel of Independence is 2 km. The nearest metro station (Line 1, pink line, the closest entrance), although it may be under maintenance, connects to the historic center, Coyoacán, and bus terminals. Nightlife is active but nearby streets can feel dark due to tree cover. The United States Embassy is 3 km, and the airport is 13 km. A variety of dining options are within a 3-minute walk.

Rooms are small and basic, best suited for guests who need a cheap place to sleep. The double rooms are compact; one private double has a shower, but all other accommodations share bathrooms. Dorm beds include a privacy curtain, a reading light, and a power socket. However, dorm rooms are cramped with no space for luggage, have limited ventilation (no air conditioning, fans provided), and can be very hot. Noise from other guests and street level is common, and the spiral staircase leading to upper floors and bathrooms is narrow and can be difficult with luggage. Some rooms retain a musty smell and older bedding and furnishings.

The hostel does not have a restaurant or breakfast service. The shared kitchen is equipped for basic cooking, with stoves, utensils, and a refrigerator, though cleanliness of the kitchen can be hit-or-miss and supplies are limited. The BBQ facilities on the terrace can be used. The surrounding Condesa neighborhood offers multiple food options: Tacos Don Juan, La Chocolaterie, Pata Negra, and Rococo Cafe Espresso are within 200 meters.

For relaxation, the hostel features a sun terrace on the third floor with outdoor furniture and barbecue facilities. The roof terrace offers a pleasant area to sit, but its use can be limited by the ventilation system smell. There is no gym, pool, spa, or organized leisure program.

Free WiFi is available throughout the building. The 24-hour front desk can help with express check-in/out, concierge services, and tour organization. A shared lounge/TV area provides seating. Laundry service is available, with pick-up and next-day return. Luggage storage is offered but may involve a fee after checkout.
