ROOMIN HOSTEL, Salamanca

The hostel sits in Salamanca's historic centre, less than 600 metres from Plaza Mayor, putting all major monuments within walking distance. Mercado Central de Salamanca market is 550 metres away, and the Art Deco & Art Nouveau Museum is 1 km from the property. Numerous dining options such as Restaurante Chino Dragon, Cafe Bar El Globo and Bar Los Mellizos are all within 300 metres. Despite its central location, the street itself is relatively quiet. No parking is available, so the location is best suited for travellers arriving on foot or by public transport.

Accommodation options include single rooms, twin rooms with 2 single beds, and quadruple rooms with 3 beds - all equipped with heating and a wardrobe. All rooms share bathroom facilities (shower only). Some rooms feature a balcony. The property is an apartment-style set-up spread over a single floor, with private rooms off a shared corridor. Rooms are described as basic and functional, with some facing the street and susceptible to traffic noise; rooms overlooking the interior tend to be quieter. A small fan is provided in warmer weather, but there is no air conditioning.

The property does not offer its own dining or breakfast service, but the surrounding streets are packed with options. Within 300 metres there are at least eight different restaurants and bars, including Cafeteria-Rest.el Parque, Cafe Bar El Globo and Restaurante Monosabio, covering a range of cuisines from Chinese to local tapas. A Carrefour supermarket is also just around the corner for picking up supplies. For lunch or dinner, every taste and budget is catered for without needing to walk more than a few minutes.

Free WiFi is available throughout the entire property, suitable for browsing and remote work. The building has a lift, making upper-floor accessible without stairs. A luggage storage service is offered for an extra charge, useful for early arrivals or late departures. A paid laundry service is also available. The property operates with key-card access for security. Check-in is handled in person by a host; late check-in after 22:00 is possible by phone arrangement.
