ROYAL BOARDINGHOUSE GMBH - MUNICH, Munich

The apartments are a 5-8 minute walk from Munich Central Station (Hbf) and around 15 minutes on foot to Marienplatz and the historic centre. Tram and metro stops are within a few minutes' walk, making it easy to reach the Messe exhibition grounds or Oktoberfest grounds in about 20 minutes. The immediate neighbourhood - the Turkish quarter - is full of halal grocery shops, kebab houses and family-run restaurants. A supermarket is located directly opposite the building. Munich Airport is 38km away and reachable by S-Bahn from the main station.

Each apartment is individually laid out with a separate living room, dining area, and bedrooms. The two-bedroom apartments have two full bathrooms - a practical layout for groups or families. All apartments feature air conditioning, soundproofed rooms, parquet flooring, a washing machine, a work desk, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and city views. The three-bedroom units sleep up to five guests and are especially roomy. Beds are consistently described as comfortable, and the apartments are quiet at night despite the central location. Note that older furnishings and occasional maintenance issues have been observed, so cleanliness standards may vary.

The kitchens include a refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, electric kettle, cookware, and utensils. Dishwasher tablets and laundry detergent are provided. The Turkish quarter immediately around the hotel offers a wide range of affordable halal restaurants, kebab shops, and grocery stores - all within a 5-minute walk. Guests who prefer home cooking can shop at the supermarket opposite the building. There is no breakfast service on-site.

Internet access is free and available in all rooms. A lift serves all floors and the building is wheelchair accessible. Reception is staffed during the day and the team speaks Arabic, English and Dutch. Express check-in/out is available, and a key box allows for late arrivals after 10pm. Luggage storage can be arranged during reception hours. Daily housekeeping is complimentary, but the standard of cleaning has been noted to vary. Off-site parking costs €10 per day - no on-site parking. Business services include free fax/photocopying.
