ROYAL HOUSE CAPSULE, Dubai

The property is set in a residential building, not a standalone hotel, with no external signage - first-time visitors may need to ask for directions. The metro station (10 minutes on foot) connects directly to downtown Dubai and major business districts. Al Mamzar Open Beach is 3 km away, and key landmarks such as Sahara Centre (4 km), Grand Mosque (9 km), Dubai World Trade Centre (11 km), and City Walk Mall (15 km) are all reachable by metro or taxi. The neighbourhood is well-served by shops, groceries, and budget restaurants within a short walk. Parking is available at a public lot across the street (paid via RTA), which is usually not full even at peak times. For airport transfers, a taxi ride takes about 10 minutes.

The property is a repurposed apartment where capsules are installed in shared rooms, each containing multiple bunks. Each capsule has a curtain for privacy, a light switch, a power outlet, and a firm, comfortable mattress. Capsule height is limited - travellers over 1.8 m may find the space tight; taller guests (over 6'3") may not fit comfortably. Sound insulation is minimal: noise from neighbouring capsules and the corridor travels easily, and bathroom doors can be noisy when used at night. Rooms feature air conditioning and a balcony. Shared bathrooms are equipped with showers and bidets, and lockers are available for storing luggage.

The property does not offer a breakfast, restaurant, or bar service. A shared kitchen is provided, equipped with a cooktop, oven, electric kettle, and washing machine - no dining table or seating is available in the common area. Numerous budget restaurants, including Moulouk Al Shawarma, Farhat Alasli, and Mandilicious, are within a 3-5 minute walk. Grocery stores are also nearby for self-catering supplies.

There is no pool, gym, spa, or recreational area on the property. Leisure options are limited to the two small balconies. The nearest public beach, Al Mamzar Open Beach, is 3 km away.

A 24-hour front desk allows flexible check-in, including very early arrivals. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Guests can purchase snacks and essentials at the minimarket on site. A barber/beauty shop is also available. Luggage storage after check-out is free. A washing machine is available in the shared area at no extra cost. The property does not have a dedicated reception; the building's concierge may not be directly connected to the hostel.
