RUGA BELLA APARTMENTS R&R, Venice

The apartment enjoys a prime yet peaceful location on Campo San Giacomo da l'Orio, a square where Venetians live and dine. It is 6 minutes from Frari Basilica and under 1 km from Rialto Bridge, with Scuola Grande di San Rocco and Basilica San Marco within easy reach. The nearest vaporetto stop (St Stae) is a short walk, and Venice Marco Polo Airport is 13 km away. The area offers multiple restaurants, a supermarket, and a lively food market just steps away, while the square hosts free concerts during local celebrations. The neighbourhood feels authentic and away from the heaviest tourist crowds, though the walk to Piazza San Marco is slightly longer.

Two apartment types are available: the one-bedroom unit (1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 bed) offers a bridge view from the kitchen and a square view from the bedroom; the larger apartment (2 living rooms, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 2 beds) has all windows facing the square and includes a sofa. Both are air-conditioned and feature a seating area with flat-screen TV, a washing machine, tumble dryer, tea and coffee maker, and a kitchen with stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, and kitchenware. The decor is stylish and modern, with comfortable beds and well-maintained interiors. The apartment feels spacious for Venice, and the air conditioning works effectively even in hot weather.

The apartment's kitchen includes a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, electric kettle, and kitchenware, making it easy to prepare meals. The surrounding square and streets offer a wide choice of eateries within a 0.5 km radius, including Osteria La Zucca, Osteria da Filo, Bacaro Quebrado, Ae Oche, Pizzeria Ae Oche, Gelato di Natura, Il Refolo, and Taverna Capitan Uncino. A supermarket is also a few minutes away, and a food market is located steps from the property, providing fresh ingredients for cooking.

Wellness and leisure facilities on-site are not available. The apartment's setting - with windows overlooking the square and canal - allows for a tranquil stay. Boating is available in the surroundings, and the square often hosts free concerts during local celebrations. The neighbourhood's authentic character and proximity to shops, restaurants, and cultural sites make it a comfortable base for exploring Venice on foot or by vaporetto.
