SAN POLO DESIGN APARTMENTS BY WONDERFUL ITALY, Venice

The apartment is in a top-rated area of Venice, within 15 minutes' walk of most major attractions, including Saint Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge. The location is also quiet despite being central. A supermarket (Tuday Conad) and several restaurants, pizzerias, and cafes are within a 5-minute walk, on streets like Rio Marin and Muro Frari. Venice Santa Lucia train station is about a 15-minute walk, and a short walk to the vaporetto (water bus) stops provides easy canal access. The area is generally walkable, but expect to cross bridges and carry luggage over cobblestones.

Apartments are described as spacious for family use (up to 4 people). Bed setup is two bedrooms, each with two single beds. The private bathroom includes a shower, bidet, and hairdryer. Kitchens are well-equipped: stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, kitchenware, and a dining table. The living area features a sofa, TV, and seating. Soundproof walls are standard, but street noise (especially from wheeled luggage) can be an issue in some apartments or on lower floors. Some units have a balcony, while others do not; check the specific listing. Wardrobes contain extra linens and pillows. Windows: in some units, only one opens; in others, natural light is limited. The sofa bed has been described as uncomfortable in some apartments. Room cleanliness can vary, with some reports of dusty floors or stained linens.

Wellness and leisure options are limited to what the city of Venice offers outside the property. There is no pool, spa, fitness center, or entertainment space within the apartment building.

WiFi is free, though some units have reported unstable connections. A flat-screen TV with satellite channels is in the living area. The property provides an iron and ironing board. Heating is available. Allergy-free and family rooms can be requested. The building has a fire extinguisher on each floor. There is no 24-hour reception; contact is via chat or phone. Check-in is self-service with a key code. No cots are available. Parking is not available on-site. Guests with cars must park at a nearby garage (e.g., Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto, about 15-20 minutes away by foot or vaporetto) for a fee.
