This makes it easy to reach Notre Dame (3 km) and the Louvre (3 km). Orly Airport is 12 km away - the Orlybus stops at Denfert-Rochereau. The neighbourhood is quiet yet vibrant, with Rue Daguerre just 0.5 km away, packed with bakeries, fruit shops, bistros and a Sunday flea market. Walking time to Rue Daguerre's restaurants is under 5 minutes. Use the free bikes to reach the Eiffel Tower (5 km) and Luxembourg Gardens on car-free routes.

Rooms come as singles, doubles and family units (two rooms separated by a bathroom). All include a private bathroom with shower, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a desk, wardrobe, heating and a kettle. Double rooms have one double bed; twin beds are not available. Some rooms have a small balcony. The shower is compact - wet-room style without a proper shower screen, causing water to spread across the bathroom floor. Road-facing rooms can be noisy; rooms at the back of the main building are noticeably quieter. Furniture is older but functional, and beds are comfortable. Some rooms are in an annex without a lift, so request a main-building room if stairs are an issue. Air conditioning is controlled centrally at reception and may not always be reliable; opening the window is an alternative.

Breakfast is included in the room rate or available for a 1 EUR supplement. It is a simple, traditional French offering with no hot dishes, eggs, fruit or cereals. The breakfast room is pleasant, and in good weather you can sit in the garden courtyard. The hotel has no restaurant for other meals, but the area around Rue Daguerre is filled with bakeries, pastry shops, bistros, fruit stores and markets - all within a few minutes' walk. For those who prefer a heartier start, many nearby cafés offer wider options.
