SONESTA ES SUITES JACKSONVILLE, Jacksonville

The hotel is located in Bay Meadows, a business park district that feels safe due to the presence of a Sheriff's department directly across the street. I-95 is easily reachable, making it straightforward to drive to downtown Jacksonville, the beaches (about a 30-minute drive), Saint Augustine, or Daytona Beach. Several restaurants including Front Page Grille & Bar, Krystal, NOOM Thai Bistro, and Minerva Indian Restaurant are within 1 km. Grocery stores and shops are also nearby. The surrounding area can feel unkempt, with some foot traffic from non-hotel areas, but the immediate hotel grounds are well-lit. For those arriving by car, the on-site parking is free but can be crowded in the evenings. This location is well-suited for guests with a car who need easy highway access and a secure base.

Rooms are apartment-style suites with a range of configurations: standard rooms with a kitchenette, one-bedroom suites, and two-storey loft suites. The lofts feature a king bed upstairs with its own bathroom, plus two queen beds and a second full bathroom downstairs, along with a living room, dining area, and a gas fireplace. Standard rooms offer a sitting area, work desk, sofa bed, and a fully equipped kitchen. All suites include a private bathroom, flat-screen TV, ironing facilities, tea and coffee facilities, an in-room safe, air conditioning, and heating. Bedding is frequently described as exceptionally comfortable, with quality linens and pillows. While the overall design is modern and recently renovated, some units may have an older feel or signs of wear. The property is non-smoking throughout.

The outdoor pool is a highlight, with a deep end and a lift for accessibility, but it is not heated. Adjacent to the pool is a patio with seating and a gas BBQ grill for guest use. There is also a basketball court with balls available. The 24-hour fitness centre features modern equipment for cardio and strength training. These facilities are well-maintained and provide good options for relaxation and exercise during the stay.
