SPACE TOKYO HOUSE, Tokyo

Kanamachi Station (JR and metro) provides easy rail and metro access to central Tokyo, making the slightly out-of-centre location practical for travellers who prefer a quieter base. The immediate neighbourhood is well served by convenience stores, supermarkets, and a variety of restaurants within a few minutes' walk. Nearby landmarks include Narihirasan Nanzoin Temple (12 minutes on foot) and Shibamata Toys Museum (2 km). While the area is car-unfriendly due to the lack of parking, the short walk to the station makes public transport the natural choice for getting around.

The property offers four room types: a 17 m2 single for one person, a 23 m2 double room, a 23 m2 twin, and a 59 m2 apartment that sleeps six with one separate bedroom plus a tatami area separated by blinds (with futons). All units are private, non-shared apartments with a private bathroom, kitchenette, and washing machine. The larger apartment includes a separate living room, dining area, and a balcony with city views. Soundproof walls and quiet street views are standard across rooms, contributing to a calm atmosphere. Beds are large and comfortable, with sufficient space to spread luggage. The bathrooms feature a walk-in shower and bath, plus an exhaust fan with a drying function that is useful for laundry.

Each apartment includes a kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, cookware, and utensils, making it easy to prepare meals. Some units also have a rice cooker. The neighbourhood is rich in dining options, with at least seven restaurants (including Chinese, ramen, and a McDonald's) all within 0.5 km, along with convenience stores and supermarkets. This makes the property well-suited for families or groups who want the flexibility to cook or eat out. There is no on-site restaurant or bar.

The property provides free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, soundproof rooms, and non-smoking environments. Reception services include express and private check-in/out, with invoices provided. Luggage storage is available on the day of check-in or check-out but must be arranged in advance and cannot be overnight. Safety features include CCTV, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, and a security alarm. There is no parking, lift, or laundry dryer - though a washing machine and the bathroom's drying function are provided. For a dryer, a coin-operated laundromat is located nearby. Minors may stay alone only with a guardian's consent form.
