The apartment sits on a quiet street on the 5th floor, yet is moments from Rome's busiest landmarks. Spanish Steps are 400 metres away, Trevi Fountain 400 metres, and Piazza Barberini 300 metres. The Colosseum is a 20-minute walk, and the Vatican can be reached in about 40 minutes on foot. Barberini Metro Station is a 4-minute walk, providing direct links to Termini and the Vatican. The area is dense with restaurants, cafés and shops, making car use unnecessary. Fiumicino Airport is reachable by train via Termini, and Ciampino is 15 km away. The street is quiet at night, and no public transport is needed for most sightseeing.

Each apartment has a separate bedroom, a living room with a sofabed, and a full kitchen with stovetop, fridge, microwave and kettle. The sofa bed is sufficient for two people, making the layout suitable for families or groups. There are two bathrooms - one with a shower inside the bedroom, the other without shower in the living room. Both include a bidet. The apartment is clean and well-maintained, with parquet floors and a washing machine. Rooms on higher floors receive good natural light, and the street is very quiet at night. Balconies with city views are available but not in all units. The property also provides a cot at no extra cost.

Spain Apartments does not serve breakfast or have its own restaurant. The kitchenette in each apartment allows for self-catering. The immediate area is dense with dining options: over 8 restaurants and gelaterias are within 300 metres, including Antica Trattoria Al Gallinaccio, Gelateria Valentino, and Prosciutteria Cantina Dei Papi Trevi. A highly-rated café (Tra Caffè) is a 30-second walk from the entrance and is recommended for morning coffee. The nearby supermarket is convenient for stocking the apartment's kitchen.

The property offers free WiFi throughout, which is reliable and sufficient for remote work. A lift is available, though it was replaced in 2022 and is fully operational. Luggage storage is provided free of charge - guests can leave bags before check-in and after check-out, offering flexibility for flight schedules. Self check-in is available for late arrivals (e.g. after 22:00) via a code, with a EUR 20 late check-in fee. Pets are allowed but charges may apply. No safe box is provided in the apartment.
