SPARK BY HILTON EL PASO UNIVERSITY, El Paso

The hotel sits conveniently on the west side of El Paso, offering quick access to the interstate while bypassing downtown traffic during rush hours. Nearby attractions include the Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino, Wet N' Wild Waterworld, and the Bridge of the Americas port to Juarez, Mexico. Several dining options such as Toro Burger Bar, Subway, Don Carbon, and Tony's Gorditas are within a 0.5 km walk, and the Sunland Park Mall is a short drive away. The location is well-suited for travellers with a car, with ample free on-site parking available.

All rooms are non-smoking and include air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, and a private bathroom with a bath or shower and hairdryer. The double room offers one bed, while the quadruple room provides two beds. Junior Suites come equipped with microwaves, refrigerators, and coffee makers, making them a better choice for longer stays or self-catering needs. Some rooms face the road, so lighter sleepers may want to request a quieter interior-facing room. The property has undergone a recent renovation, though the underlying building remains older; overall comfort and cleanliness are generally praised for the price point.

The indoor pool is small but is heated and available year-round. Some stays have experienced the pool being either very cold or closed for maintenance, so families or guests planning significant pool time should check current conditions in advance. There is no fitness centre, spa, or wellness centre on-site.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas, though speeds can be slow during peak use. Public parking is on-site and free, with no reservation needed. The 24-hour front desk offers key card access and serves as a central point for requests. A vending machine provides drinks and snacks. The property has a lift and facilities for disabled guests. Daily housekeeping is not automatic and may need to be requested. Valet cleaning service is offered for laundry. Business travellers can access copy and fax services.
