STAR HOSTEL SAN SIRO FIERA, Milan

The hostel sits on the 6th floor of a residential building in a safe, green area. San Siro metro station (line 5) is a 10-minute walk, giving direct access to Garibaldi station and city-centre connections. Bus line 80 reaches San Siro Stadium in 7 minutes from the stop opposite the hostel. Several restaurants, a grocery store, and a bar are within a 5-10 minute walk. The city centre (Duomo) takes about 45 minutes via metro. For Malpensa Airport: take a bus to Milano Centrale, then metro lines 2 and 5 to San Siro, plus a 15-minute walk.

Each room features parquet flooring, garden views, a fan, and heating. Room sizes are generally spacious. A limited number of rooms include a private bathroom; the rest share three bathrooms located in the hallway. Bathrooms are cleaned periodically but have been reported as aged, with intermittent hot water and occasional maintenance issues. Bedding consists of a bottom sheet only; blankets are not laundered between stays. Extra charges apply for linen (€2) and towels (€3). Rooms have a wardrobe and one power socket. Some rooms offer a double bed or two single beds, no bunk beds. The property is adults only and non-smoking. Thin walls mean noise from neighbours can be heard. A fan is provided; there is no air conditioning.

There is no restaurant at the hostel. A compact common kitchen is available with a microwave, electric kettle, minimal cookware, and a refrigerator. A small dining table with four chairs is provided, and meals are not permitted in the rooms. For prepared food, multiple restaurants and bars are within a 3-10 minute walk (e.g., Pizza Haus, El Patio del Gaucho, Akkademia II). A grocery store is also nearby for self-catering. Breakfast is not offered on-site.

Free WiFi is available in all areas. The hostel has a lift to the 6th floor, a sun terrace, and a small common room with a TV. Express check-in/out is free. Safety deposit boxes are available for €3 per night plus a €10 refundable key deposit. Payment is accepted via Visa, Maestro, and MasterCard. Luggage can only be stored during the stay, not before check-in or after check-out. There is no luggage room outside hours. The property is adults only, non-smoking, and does not allow pets. No on-site parking; street parking is limited and mostly for residents. A public paid car park is located on Via Novara, a 10-15 minute walk away.
