STELLA MARINA 1, Venice

The apartment sits in a quiet, residential side street on Giudecca, away from the St. Mark's crowds but within a 5-minute walk of Palanca station, where vaporettos run every 10 minutes during the day and every hour at night. A short boat ride (about 10 minutes) reaches San Marco. The surrounding Fondamenta offers a range of restaurants, cafés, bars and shops within 2-5 minutes on foot. The Alilaguna Blue line provides direct airport access from Marco Polo to the Stucky pier, close to the apartment. No car parking is possible; the entire area is pedestrian-friendly and well-served by water transport.

The apartment sleeps up to 6 across three bedrooms: a barrier-free ground-floor master bedroom with a walk-in shower and private bathroom, a first-floor room with two single beds perfect for children, and a double bed on an open gallery. The second bathroom features a shower and bidet. The main living room includes a sofa, dining area, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. The fully equipped kitchen has a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and kettle. All rooms are air-conditioned and heated. The property is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with parquet flooring and tasteful decorations. A washing machine, ironing facilities, and a safety deposit box are also provided.

The apartment itself has no restaurant or breakfast service; guests are advised to plan meals from the surrounding area. Within a short walk (0.3-1 km) are Trattoria Borghi, Harry's Dolci, Riviera Ristorante per Onnivori, Riviera, Aromi Restaurant, Trattoria San Basilio, Rialto Lobby Bar and Lounge, and Molino Restaurant. A bakery/café near Palanca vaporetto stop offers morning options. Most cafés and bars along the waterfront stay open until around midnight, with shops closing at 20:00. The location is ideal for self-catering thanks to the well-equipped kitchen and nearby grocery stores.

Stella Marina 1 does not feature a spa, pool, or gym. The apartment's appeal for leisure is its quiet Giudecca setting, with direct water-bus connections to the main Venice attractions, including the Biennale art exhibitions and St. Mark's Square. Boating activities on the lagoon are easily accessible from the nearby vaporetto stops. The quiet neighbourhood and canal views make it a restful base after exploring the city.

The apartment offers free WiFi throughout, a safety deposit box, and luggage storage. Check-in and check-out are handled privately, with a welcome pack and local recommendations provided by the host Cristina. The property is secured with key access and fire extinguishers. There is no parking, airport shuttle, or on-site restaurant. A washing machine, ironing facilities, and cots are available. The host is responsive and provides detailed directions, including an access code for late arrivals within the check-in window. No pets are permitted, and the property is entirely non-smoking.
