Hotel Details

Location

St. Norbert Hotel is in Saint Vital, Winnipeg, 18 km from the airport and near major highways. The area offers quick access to restaurants, grocery stores, and attractions like Forks Market and the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.

The hotel sits just off the Perimeter Highway, making it ideal for travellers passing through. Princess Auto Stadium is a short drive away, and a farmers market operates on Saturdays next door. While the property is motel-style with parking at your door, downtown Winnipeg is about 15 minutes by car. Public transport options are limited; a car is recommended for exploring the city.

Dining

The on-site Nob Bar serves American cuisine and has a lively atmosphere with live music on weekends. A breakfast cafe, Nobside Cafe, is open for morning meals and complimentary coffee is available for hotel guests.

Nob Bar operates from 10am to 2am on weekends (Thu-Sat) and until midnight on Sunday. The restaurant is popular locally, with a beer store attached. Breakfast is not included but can be purchased at the cafe. Across the street, a pizza place and other options are available. Food is described as delicious and reasonably priced. The bar can be very busy on Friday and Saturday nights, which may affect noise levels in nearby rooms.

Leisure

No spa or pool are on site. Recreation includes billiards, a nearby golf course (within 3 km), and an ice-skating rink in the area.

The hotel does not have a fitness centre or pool. The on-site bar features live music and a casino-like atmosphere (slot machines) for evening entertainment. A golf course is a short drive away, and the ice-skating rink is within walking distance. The terrace and patio provide outdoor seating. For light activity, a Saturday farmers market next door offers a local experience.
