STONEWALL SUITES, Montreal

Stonewall Suites sits at the corner of Queen Mary and Décarie, placing you on a major artery with immediate access to buses, the metro, and the Decarie Expressway. A Metro supermarket, pharmacy, and a wide range of eateries (Peking Garden, Thai Express, Pho 88, and others) are within a 2-minute walk. Downtown Montreal is a 20-minute drive away, Montreal-Trudeau International Airport is 9 km (roughly 20 minutes by car), and Mount Royal Park is 6 km from the property. Saint Joseph's Oratory is a 19-minute drive. The street-facing apartments pick up noise from late-night traffic and nearby bars, while courtyard-facing rooms remain significantly quieter. The immediate area includes some street-involved individuals, which can feel unsettling; however, the apartment itself is secure with code access.

Each suite features a private entrance, soundproof walls between apartments, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a washing machine and dryer, and a work desk. Kitchens come with a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, and cookware. The 3-bedroom apartment sleeps up to 6 across 4 beds, while the 1-bedroom suites accommodate up to 2 or 3 guests. Some apartments include a sofa bed or an inflatable mattress, though the sofa beds have been noted to be short and uncomfortable, and bedding for them may not always be provided. Noise from neighbours and the street can be significant in street-facing rooms; earplugs are recommended. Cleanliness has been variable, with some units showing stains on upholstery, yellowed pillows, and hair on linens. The property has no lift, and stairs can be narrow and steep.

For leisure within the building, guests can use the on-site terrace and borrow bicycle hire (for a fee) to explore the neighbourhood. Happy hour (additional charge) and movie nights (at an external venue) can be arranged during your stay. The surrounding area includes an ice-skating rink as a nearby attraction. The apartment itself has a comfortable living area with a sofa bed and streaming services on the TV for in-room entertainment.
