Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral is a 6-minute walk, Piazza del Duomo is 400 metres away, and the Uffizi Gallery is less than 1 km. Florence Airport is 9 km from the property. The location puts the central market, railway station, pharmacy, Carrefour supermarket, a laundromat and a cluster of trattorias and cafés within a few minutes' walk, while the street stays quiet at night. The historic centre is compact enough to cover on foot, and the area is inside the ZTL traffic restriction, so arriving by car requires pre-arranged parking; nearby paid parking and a discounted garage are available.

Room layouts vary. The 1001 Nights room is the largest and has a private bathroom located outside the room; the Bourbon St Room offers a newly renovated ensuite; and other configurations may share a bathroom, so choose a private-bathroom room at reservation. Beds are double only, twin-bed setups are not available, and no rooms have balconies. Rooms are on the first and second floors, served by a compact elevator. Standard comforts include air conditioning, heating, streaming-enabled flat-screen TVs, electric kettles, tea and coffee, kitchenettes, work desks, safety deposit boxes and either parquet or tiled floors. Some rooms have city views, while others receive limited natural light and have windows facing a close neighbouring building. Internal sound insulation can be uneven, with hallway and shared-bathroom noise noticeable for light sleepers.

Breakfast is not included in the nightly rate and is charged per person (€7-8). It can be served in the room, with Italian and vegetarian choices. For spontaneous snacks, each room has a coffee machine with capsules, plus biscuits and tea. Wine and champagne are available for an additional charge. There is no restaurant on site, but the shared kitchen is fully equipped - cookware, utensils, electric kettle and a dining table - for preparing your own meals, and a Carrefour supermarket is close by. The immediate area also has a dense cluster of trattorias, osterias and cafés within 0.5 km.

The property does not have a swimming pool, spa or wellness centre. Instead, leisure is oriented around Florence itself: personalised wine tours in the Chianti hills can be arranged, with a few-hour option priced at €75 per person, and off-site cooking classes and local-culture tours are available for an additional charge. Inside the B&B, board games and puzzles are provided, and the shared kitchen is available for simple meals. For most city breaks, the Duomo, Uffizi and central market are all within easy walking reach.

Wi-Fi is fast and free, with enough capacity for 4K streaming and video calls on multiple devices. Daily housekeeping is included. Luggage can be left in the common kitchen before check-in and after check-out at no charge, and lockers are available. The shared kitchen is equipped with cookware, utensils, an electric kettle and a dining table, with labelled fridge space so food stays separate. Private check-in/check-out, invoice provision, key access, a welcome drink and a safety deposit box are standard.
