SWEETY ROME, Rome

The main station is about three minutes on foot from the entrance, so airport shuttles, metro lines and regional trains are the simplest way in. The Colosseum is a 19-minute walk, with the Roman Forum on the same route; Porta Maggiore takes 15 minutes on foot. Spanish Steps at 3 km, Trevi Fountain at 3 km and the Pantheon at 3 km are compact rides or longer walks. Rome Ciampino Airport is 14 km away, with shuttle connections through Termini. The immediate stretch around the station includes a central market and a dense cluster of restaurants.

Options range from double rooms with one bed to triple rooms with two or three beds. All rooms come with air conditioning, heating, a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV and a tumble dryer. Bathrooms have a shower or bath, bidet, hairdryer and free toiletries, with bathrobes provided; a single room uses an external bathroom, so choose a private-bathroom room if that matters. Beds are notably comfortable. Family rooms are available, and the four-room layout can be booked together for larger groups. Courtyard-facing rooms are quiet, and the air conditioning performs well. Daily housekeeping keeps rooms clean and restocks bottled water plus fresh fruit such as bananas and mandarins.

Breakfast costs 2 EUR and covers the morning basics: fruit juice, fresh pastries and fruit. The spread is light, so it works well as a quick start before heading out. The surrounding 300-metre block also provides Italian, Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese restaurants, and the central market beside Termini adds further meal options.

Wi-Fi is free in all areas. Express and private check-in/check-out are included, and lockers let you leave belongings securely when arriving early or departing late. The lift removes the need to carry luggage up stairs. Security includes 24-hour coverage, smoke alarms, security alarms and fire extinguishers. The management is responsive and helps with luggage and local orientation. An invoice can be provided for business stays. Accepted cards include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, JCB, Maestro, Discover, CartaSi and UnionPay.
