The walk from the station takes about an hour. From the airport, the most efficient route is a train to Malaga Centro Alameda station followed by bus 3. The property sits on a hillside, accessed by a long staircase, which is challenging with heavy luggage but rewarded with sea views from the terrace. Nearby dining options include Chiringuito Oasis (0.5 km) and several restaurants within 0.5 km.

The hostel offers mixed and female-only dorms, most with bunk beds. Lower bunks have privacy curtains. Lockers are available with a 5€ deposit. The female dorm has an ensuite bathroom; other dorms share facilities. The property is older and the building shows signs of wear. Dorms can feel basic and small for the number of beds. Top bunks lack curtains, and some have reported mattresses that reveal springs. The window situation varies: in some rooms, airflow is limited if the window is kept shut. Air conditioning is available but controlled at reception and may not be on during the day. Earplugs are recommended for light sleepers, as noise from the staircase and other guests can carry. Bed linen and towels are provided free of charge.

Breakfast is available for purchase: a simple option at 3€ and a full one at 7€. Free coffee and tea are offered in the mornings. The shared kitchen is well-equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, and all necessary cookware, making self-catering easy. Food can be stored in the fridge using individual containers.
