The C10 train from Barrial Station (2 minutes' walk) connects directly to Atocha central station and Madrid airport, making the property practical for car-free arrivals if you don't mind a 20-minute train ride. Free on-site parking is available without reservation, and an Aldi supermarket is 200 metres from the gate for self-catering supplies. Gran Plaza 2, El Corte Inglés and Sexta Avenida shopping centres are within minutes by car. For drivers, the M40 and A6 motorways are immediately accessible, providing a 10-minute drive to central Madrid. The area also has several restaurants within a 1-2 km range, such as La Terraza De La Florida and Volea Cocina De Temporada, though walkable dining on the immediate street is very limited - a car is strongly recommended for evening meals or sightseeing. Neighbouring landmarks include Zarzuela Palace, Vila de Madrid Golf Course, and multiple parks, plus the NIZA and Zarzuela hospitals are a short distance away.

The property offers a mix of rooms and self-catering apartments. All units have full air conditioning, satellite TV, a private bathroom with bath and hairdryer, and free Wi-Fi. The apartments - one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and studio-style - are notably spacious and include a kitchenette equipped with a stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, kitchenware, and a washing machine. Some also feature a separate seating area with a sofa. While the apartments are large and generally clean, the furniture and decor are dated, with worn wallpaper and older kitchens. Sound insulation is poor: noise from neighbouring apartments, the motorway, and plumbing can be intrusive for light sleepers. A room on a higher floor or away from the road is recommended. There are no balconies. Cooking utensils and crockery are minimal - basic cookware is provided, but items like a kettle, toaster, or additional pans are not guaranteed. Daily housekeeping includes bed-making and cleaning, but deep-cleaning issues (mould in bathroom, dirty grout, stained upholstery) have been noted in some units.

TH Aravaca does not offer a spa, wellness centre, swimming pool, or gym. The main leisure facility is the pleasant garden area surrounding the apartment buildings - a grassy, tree-filled space with benches and tables, suitable for relaxing with a drink or letting children play. A golf course is available at Club de Campo, located 5 km away. For those wanting more active recreation, the nearby Vila de Madrid Golf Course and various parks in the area are accessible by car. Zarzuela Palace and the mountains around Madrid are also nearby for day trips. The property's quiet, green setting makes it a restful overnight stop but not a destination for on-site leisure.
