THE LEEWARD APARTMENTS BY LOWKL, Fort Lauderdale

The property sits in a safe, convenient residential area within a 15-minute drive of most local attractions, including Bonnet House Museum and Gardens and the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is 15 km away. The immediate area offers several dining options within 1 km, such as Starbucks, BurgerFi, Thai Thani, and Seasons 52. A car is the most practical way to explore the city, though the beach is walkable for early excursions. On-site parking is free and assigned per unit.

The Deluxe 1-Bedroom Queen (one queen bed plus a sofa bed) is suitable for couples or small families, featuring a kitchenette. The Premium 2-Bedroom Family Suite sleeps up to six with two queen beds and a full kitchen, ideal for larger groups. Both include air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a tea and coffee maker, and free toiletries. Apartments are spacious and updated, with garden views and well-equipped kitchens that make self-catering easy. Windows do not open, so ventilation is via air conditioning. The units are clean and comfortable, with adequate storage for extended stays.

For those who prefer not to cook, several dining options are within walking distance or a short drive, including Dapur Asian Tapas Restaurant and Lounge (4 km), Blue Martini (1 km), and The Capital Grille (1 km). The outdoor picnic area with barbecue facilities offers an alternative for casual meals on-site. Because there is no on-site breakfast or restaurant, planning meals ahead is recommended.

The outdoor area includes a pleasant courtyard with garden furniture, ideal for evening dining or relaxation. For more active recreation, guests can access hiking, cycling, canoeing, snorkelling, and horseback riding in the surrounding area. The property does not have a pool or spa, but Fort Lauderdale Beach is 2 km away for swimming and sunbathing.
