The surrounding streets are narrow and busy, with limited sidewalks, so walking to the metro is more suitable for those comfortable navigating traffic. Taxis and motorbike taxis via Grab are a practical alternative for reaching the BTS or other parts of the city. Lumpini Park, One Bangkok, and Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre are within a short taxi ride or a 20-minute walk.

Rooms are simple and practical, with carpeted or parquet floors, a desk, and good natural light in many rooms. Some rooms have a balcony (narrow; primarily a standing ledge), while others offer city views from higher floors. The bathrooms are private with a shower and bathtub; no slippers or hairdryer are provided. The property is older: some rooms show wear such as chipped furniture, worn flooring, or occasional mould in the bathroom corners, though daily cleaning keeps the space tidy. The air conditioning is effective but can be noisy. The area is generally quiet at night, but rooms facing the road may experience some traffic sound. For light sleepers, a room away from the road is recommended.

The rooftop pool is a key leisure feature - it is open all year, surrounded by a fence, and includes sun loungers and chairs with a view over Bangkok. The pool is relatively quiet and often uncrowded, making it a pleasant place to cool off after a day in the city.
