The Weekend sits in the exclusive Old Las Palmas district, a 20-minute walk or 5-minute drive from downtown Palm Springs with its shops and dining options. Uptown's restaurants, bars, and coffee shops are within a 5- to 10-minute walk. Palm Springs International Airport is 3 km away, and attractions like O'Donnell Golf Course (2 km) and the Palm Springs Visitor Center (3 km) are close by. Free on-site parking is available. The neighborhood is quiet and residential, providing a calm retreat while still being walkable to the city's main activity.

All suites are ground-floor and poolside, each with a private patio. Deluxe 1-Bedroom suites (65 m²) include a kitchenette with mini-fridge and are recommended for shorter stays. Premier 1-Bedroom suites (74 m²) add a full kitchen (no stove), dining area, and a full-sized refrigerator with ice maker, making them better suited for longer stays. Premier 2-Bedroom suites (79 m²) feature a king bed, a queen bed, two full bathrooms, and three 42' Smart TVs. All suites have air conditioning, a comfortable seating area, a walk-in closet, rain showers, Frette towels and robes, L'Occitane bath products, Nespresso machines, and blackout curtains for a restful sleep. Suites feel fresh, clean, and spacious, with a stylish mid-century modern decor.

The Weekend is a small boutique property with 10 suites and no restaurant or bar on site. Each suite comes with a kitchenette or kitchen (no stove), allowing for self-catering. Uptown dining is a short walk away, with restaurants such as Dish Creative Cuisine, Alebrije Bistro Mexico, Bootlegger Tiki, and Wexler's all within 0.5 km. At least three coffee shops are within a 5-minute walk, and a 24-hour Denny's is right next door. For groceries and drinks, a liquor store is directly across the road.

The main leisure facility is a heated saline pool, open year-round and maintained at approximately 31.1 °C. Poolside seating consists mostly of couches, with a handful of loungers available. Pool/beach towels are provided. The hotel has no hot tub. The pool area is kept quiet and tranquil, with no personal music or rafts allowed. Each suite also has a private back patio with rattan or other seating, ideal for reading or relaxing in the sun.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the property free of charge. Free private parking is available on site without reservation. Contactless check-in begins at 3:00 PM, with door codes sent by text on the day of arrival. Guest services are available from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily, and staff are responsive via text outside those hours. Each suite includes a laptop safe. Pets are allowed for a fee (USD 100 plus tax per stay, maximum 2 dogs); service dogs for disabilities are exempt. Housekeeping is provided during the stay, and the property is known for being spotlessly clean.
