Niagara Falls is roughly a five-minute walk, with the Maid of the Mist departure, Journey Behind the Falls, Skylon Tower and Casino Niagara all reachable on foot. Clifton Hill's arcades, restaurants and attractions begin outside the door. The streets and sidewalks on the hill are steep in places, which is worth factoring in with a stroller or limited mobility. Paid on-site parking means a car can be left parked for the whole stay, and arrivals from the American side can reach the border bridge in about five minutes.

Rooms are arranged motel-style across a ground floor and two upper floors. Options include double rooms, King and Queen rooms with private balconies, family rooms with three beds, quadruple rooms with two beds, and a suite with four double beds and a small kitchen. Every room has a private bathroom with bath or shower, air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, and a mini fridge, microwave and tea/coffee maker. Direct waterfall views are not available, and jetted tub rooms are not currently offered. Standards vary by section: some rooms have been refreshed, while older rooms show dated furniture, worn carpet, loud wall-unit air conditioners and TVs without external-device ports. Beds are generally comfortable. Third-floor rooms tend to be quieter but require stairs; some upper rooms have sightlines to the area's fireworks displays.

Breakfast is not included in the room rate. On-site dining is Ruby Tuesday, which includes a bar and serves American fare for lunch and dinner from 11:00 to 23:00. Clifton Hill's restaurant strip surrounds the property, with buffet, pizza and family-dining options within about one kilometre. Every room includes a fridge, microwave and coffee maker, so keeping drinks and snacks in the room is straightforward.

The heated outdoor pool is fenced and has a shallow end, sun loungers, pool towels and a pool cover. It typically operates from 15 May to 15 October, weather permitting, and is open daily from 09:00 to 22:00. There is no indoor pool, spa or wellness centre. Beyond the pool, the surrounding entertainment district provides walkable diversions, while MarineLand Canada and Hillebrand Estates Winery broaden the day-trip possibilities.

Services include a 24-hour front desk, free Wi-Fi in all areas, express check-in/out and free luggage storage. Security features include 24-hour security, CCTV, smoke alarms and a free safety deposit box. Laundry and ice machines are available. The business centre and fax/photocopying incur an extra fee. Playpens can be placed in rooms with 24 hours notice, and group reservations can be arranged for weddings or sports teams. Housekeeping can be requested through the front desk.
