Pier Head is 300 metres from the hotel, with the Royal Court Theatre 600 metres away. Tate Liverpool can be reached in 14 minutes on foot, the Titanic Memorial in 10 minutes, and the Cavern Club is a 5-minute walk. Mathew Street and the Cavern Quarter are just around the corner. Liverpool Central and Lime Street train stations are both a 10- to 15-minute walk, Queen Square bus station is 10-12 minutes away, and John Lennon Airport is 12 km or about 30 minutes by taxi. Castle Street itself is a vibrant pedestrianised area with a high concentration of dining and entertainment options.

Double rooms have a double bed (135 cm x 190 cm); twin rooms have two single beds. Bathrooms include a walk-in shower, hairdryer and free toiletries. Many rooms have parquet floors, and heating can be controlled via the air-conditioning unit. Rooms vary in size - some are quite small, with minimal storage (4 hangers, no wardrobe). Not all rooms have windows. Some windows can be opened to a 10-15 cm gap. The building layout involves two lifts and multiple corridors, which can feel maze-like. Road-facing rooms can be noisy from street activity, bar deliveries and bin collections.

A snack bar and coffee house are available on site, and a vending machine offers drinks and snacks. Castle Street has many cafes, restaurants and bars within a 2-minute walk, including Greggs next door and several other dining options such as Viva Brazil, Queens Wine Bar and Bistro, Black Barrel and Castle St Townhouse all within 0.5 km. More variety - including Moose Coffee and Mowgli Street Food - is about 1 km away.

Leisure options are limited to the surrounding city-centre attractions: Albert Dock, Cavern Quarter and the many bars, shops and entertainment venues within a 5- to 15-minute walk. For dedicated wellness facilities, venues such as city-centre gyms or day spas would need to be sought independently.

Check-in and check-out are quick, and express check-in/check-out is available at no extra cost. The help desk team is available around the clock if arriving after midnight.
