Location

Steps from Ottaviano Metro, under 600 m from Vatican Museums, and less than 1 km from St Peter's Square - an exceptional central Rome base for sightseeing on foot or by metro.

U@Vatican places guests in the real heart of Rome, with an exceptional location score of 9.8. The apartment is a few steps from Ottaviano Metro (Metro line A), providing direct connections to Termini Station, the Spanish Steps, and the city centre. The Vatican Museums (600 m), St Peter's Square (under 1 km), and St Peter's Basilica (2 km) are all within an easy walk. Castel Sant'Angelo is 1 km away, and Piazza del Popolo is 2 km. Rome Ciampino Airport is 18 km from the property. The surrounding zone is safe and quiet for a city centre yet filled with restaurants, pizzerias, and shops - Conad supermarket is nearby for groceries. The apartment is well connected on foot: many major sights are reachable without public transport, and the metro makes distance trips effortless. For families, note the Ottaviano metro exit is step-free from the platform but has stairs; the apartment itself has a lift. An ice-skating rink is also located in the nearby surroundings.

Dining

Breakfast is not included, but the apartment has a full kitchen with dishwasher, stovetop, and fridge - ideal for self-catering with a minimarket a few minutes' walk away.

There is no restaurant or breakfast service on site. The property is self-catering: the kitchen is fully equipped with a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, electric kettle, kitchenware, and a dining area. A minimarket (Conad) is a few minutes' walk, convenient for groceries. Within 300-500 m on foot, guests find a wide range of Italian restaurants, pizzerias, and bars - including Beef Bazaar, L'Isola della Pizza, L'Osteria di Birra del Borgo, Ruberto, Derry Rock Pub, Bondon, Del Frate, and Sarap. Many of these serve lunch and dinner. For breakfast, guests can either prepare their own in the apartment or visit one of the many cafés and bars in the immediate surroundings, which are open from the early morning.

Leisure

An ice-skating rink is located in the surroundings. The apartment is within easy reach of all Vatican Museums and St Peter's attractions.

Leisure options on site are limited to the apartment's own amenities (flat-screen TV, free WiFi). The nearest dedicated leisure facility is an ice-skating rink in the nearby surroundings. The main leisure draw is the immediate access to the Vatican area: Vatican Museums, St Peter's Square, and St Peter's Basilica are all within a 15-minute walk, as is Castel Sant'Angelo. Piazza del Popolo and the historic centre are a 20-minute walk or a short metro ride away. No pool, spa, gym, or similar facilities are present.
