VILLAGE MOTOR INN, Austin

The motel is located near public transit stops that connect north-south across Austin, making car-free travel feasible for reaching key routes. Several dining options are within a short walk, such as Crow Bar (0.5 km), Habana Restaurant (0.5 km), and Kababalicious Food Truck (0.5 km). The surrounding area includes some commercial activity, but the immediate vicinity may have transient individuals present, particularly near stairwells and parking areas.

Each room provides a kitchen area with a microwave, refrigerator, and cooking facilities. Bedding consists of a double bed, and the room includes a flat-screen TV with cable/satellite channels, an AM/FM alarm clock, and carpeted flooring. Practical details from verified sources indicate that room conditions have been reported as unclean: visible stains on walls and bedding, mold in the bathroom, roach presence, and broken fixtures (such as a non-flushing toilet, flickering lights, and a cracked lamp). Some rooms may lack a working TV remote, and the air conditioning units have been noted to have mold issues. The bathroom is small and may have poor water pressure. Light sleepers should be aware that there is no additional security lock beyond the keycard door, and noise from hallways and common areas is possible.
