For those arriving by train, the walk from Santa Lucia station is largely flat with only one set of stairs. The neighbourhood is quiet, away from the main tourist crowds, yet well connected with a good selection of local restaurants and shops within a few minutes' walk. Water taxis and public waterbuses are available near the property. A free map of the city is provided upon arrival.

All units come with a private bathroom, air conditioning, heating, satellite TV, and free Wi-Fi (most rooms). Rooms are available with either one double bed or twin beds, arranged upon request. Some upper-floor rooms feature a private terrace or balcony with views over the rooftops. The accommodation is typically Venetian in style, with parquet floors and traditional decor. Rooms can be compact but some are noted to be spacious; attic rooms have lower ceilings and are less accessible for those with mobility issues.
