WALTER ROMAROOMS, Rome

The property is situated in a central residential building with a doorbell entry, giving quick on-foot access to Santa Maria Maggiore (3-minute walk), Vittorio Emanuele Metro Station (300 metres), the Colosseum, Domus Aurea and Rome Termini Train Station. The area is walkable for sightseeing, though the neighbourhood around the station can feel less polished. Rome Ciampino Airport is 13 km away. Those driving should note parking is off-site and costs €16 per day; the doorbell entry system and limited street parking make the location best suited for guests relying on public transport or walking.

Room types include double (1 double bed), twin (2 single beds), triple (2 beds), quadruple (3 beds) and dormitory-style beds in shared rooms. All private rooms include air conditioning, a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, tea/coffee maker, dining area, wardrobe and flat-screen TV. Dormitory beds provide access to shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. The property is primarily a guest house set within a residential apartment, so rooms and common areas are compact and basic in finish. Rooms in the shared dormitory area have been cited for less consistent cleanliness and maintenance, while private rooms offer a more contained environment. If fresh linen or housekeeping is important, confirm servicing arrangements at check-in.

Each private room includes its own dining table and chairs. A shared kitchen equipped with cookware and an electric kettle is available for guest use. The immediate neighbourhood provides a variety of dining options within a 0.3-0.5 km radius, including Trattoria Monti, Raffaello amore italiano, Flavours of India Roma, and Pasticceria Regoli. The property does not operate a restaurant or serve breakfast on site, so all meals are self-catered or sourced locally.
