The Esquilino district places you near the Colosseum (15 minutes on foot), the Trevi Fountain, and Santa Maria Maggiore. The metro and station connect you across the city and to the airport. While the immediate surroundings are busy and include some street-level activity, the position is highly practical for sightseeing. Guests walk easily to the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Termini, and shops and bakeries are just around the corner on Via Nazionale. The area has many affordable eateries, a bakery opposite the building, and a supermarket on the ground floor.

Room sizes vary: some larger rooms can accommodate an extra bed, while the most compact units (around 11 m2) are very snug, with limited space to move and a minimalist layout. The double bed in smaller rooms is set against a wall on one side, and the en suite bathrooms are compact, with a small sink and a fixed rain-shower head (no flexible hose). Road-facing rooms have good natural light; those facing the inner courtyard can be quite dark and have internal views. The building, a converted 1885 condominium, has thin walls and little soundproofing, so noise from corridors and adjacent rooms is possible. Daily cleaning is provided, and the bed and bedding are kept clean.

Recreation centers on the city itself: the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and many historic sites are within a pleasant 15- to 20-minute walk. The Vittorio Emanuele Metro line also gives quick access to the Vatican and Trastevere. For a green break, the limited parkland nearby is less recommended, but the street is lined with cafes and small shops for relaxing strolls.

The lift serves the upper floors, and the reception desk provides an invoice. Luggage can be stored free of charge before check-in from 10am and after check-out, which is useful for late flights. An airport shuttle is available for an extra fee - the best option for early morning departures before metro service begins.
