WS NOTRE-DAME - LINNE, Paris

WS Notre-Dame - Linné sits in the heart of the Latin Quarter, one of Paris's liveliest and safest districts. Jussieu metro station (lines 7 and 10) is a few minutes' walk, connecting directly to major attractions and the airport via RER B. Sainte-Chapelle (2 km), the Louvre Museum (3 km), and Rodin Museum (4 km) are all reachable on foot or by a short metro ride. The area is packed with bakeries, supermarkets, bistros, and cafés within 200-300 metres. The apartment overlooks a quiet park, so street-facing units remain peaceful at night. The Gare de Lyon station is 2 km away, making it easy to arrive by train.

Studios are genuinely compact-approximately 25 m2-with one double bed; two-bedroom units sleep up to four (two bedrooms with two beds). The second bedroom in two-bedroom units is internal and only suitable for a small child traveling with family. Each unit has a private bathroom with a shower, but the bathroom is tiny and the shower screen is often insufficient, leading to water on the floor after every wash. The bathroom also has no ventilation, which can cause damp smells. The kitchenette is fully equipped (electric hot plate, fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, cookware) for simple meals. Rooms are heated, have a flat-screen TV, and openable windows. There is no air conditioning; summer stays can be very warm, especially in south-facing rooms. Storage is adequate for a short stay, with closet space and hangers. The bed is comfortable and supportive, though some may find it firm.

WS Notre-Dame - Linné does not have a restaurant, bar, or breakfast service. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchenette (stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, kettle, coffee machine) so you can prepare breakfast or simple meals. The surrounding streets are filled with options: a supermarket, bakery, and popular spots such as Brasserie Restaurant les Arenes, Nuance cafe, and Filakia Jussieu are all within 200-300 metres. For a quick bite or coffee, Café Jussieu is right at the metro exit. The Jardin des Plantes area also has weekend markets for fresh produce. If you prefer eating out, the Latin Quarter's many restaurants cover French, Greek, Italian, and casual brasserie fare within a very short walk.

There is no gym, pool, spa, or sauna at the property. However, the Jardin des Plantes (a large botanical garden) is next door, ideal for morning runs or quiet walks. Luxembourg Gardens (15 minutes on foot) offers lawns, tennis courts, and a pond with model boats. An ice-skating rink and boating are also available seasonally in the surroundings. For indoor leisure, guests rely entirely on the apartment itself and the rich offer of cafés, bars, and cultural venues nearby.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. Check-in is self-service via door codes (up to four codes to reach the apartment), and express check-in/check-out is enforced. Security features include 24-hour surveillance, CCTV in common areas, fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, and a safe deposit box in each unit. The property has no lift; rooms are accessible by stairs. Daily housekeeping is not included-towels and linen are changed only on request, and the host team may not always respond instantly to service requests (e.g., for a broken fan or blocked safe). Parking is not available, so car-free travel is recommended. The property accepts Visa and MasterCard. Luggage storage after checkout is not guaranteed and must be arranged individually.
