Lamarck-Caulaincourt station is effectively outside the hotel, with line 12 connecting directly to central Paris. The platform is reached by stairs, and an elevator helps bypass some steps. Bus line 80 also serves the area and heads towards the Eiffel Tower. The immediate surroundings are lively but calmer than the cathedral summit, with many restaurants, cafés, bakeries and shops within a few minutes' walk. The area stays lively after dark. Gare du Nord is a convenient metro connection. Public transport is the natural way to get around from this car-free base.

Double and twin configurations are available, with decor varying by floor through painted walls, art themes and colourful furniture. Rooms include a flat-screen TV, hairdryer, heating, and carpet or parquet flooring; some add a fridge or minibar, a luggage rack and a small seating area. There are no in-room tea/coffee facilities. The 7th-floor terrace rooms are limited and offer the best views over Sacré-Cœur. Street-facing rooms have single glazing, so traffic and nearby bar noise can be audible; side-facing rooms are calmer, and corridor and neighbouring-room sounds can carry. Air conditioning is not in every room, so rooms without it rely on windows and a fan. Some bathrooms have a shower over the bath with only a partial curtain, and bed comfort varies.
