The property faces a lively square lined with cafés and restaurants, creating a vibrant atmosphere during the day and evening. Weekends can bring noise from late-night bars and crowds, but soundproofed windows help reduce street sound. The nearest metro is about seven minutes on foot, with trains and buses also nearby. Most major sights - including the Cathedral, Santa Maria del Mar, Parc de la Ciutadella, and the Picasso Museum - are within a 5-15 minute walk. Supermarkets are located on the same square and around the corner. The airport can be reached via the Aerobus (Universitat stop) or a short taxi ride.

Loft-style studios feature plenty of light and an office area with microwave, fridge, and dishwasher - but no cooktop. Standard apartments have a sink, kettle, and utensils but no stove. Superior, Executive, and Family categories include a stove, basic cooking supplies (salt, sugar, oil), and more space. Sofa beds measure 80x190 cm and are best suited for a child or small adult; they do not pull out into a full bed. All rooms have air conditioning, heating, room-darkening curtains, a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, and a private bathroom with shower. Noise from neighbouring apartments and corridor sounds can be an issue - rooms facing the square are the noisiest. Beds cannot be separated into twins.

Every apartment has a kitchenette or kitchen corner depending on the category. Standard units provide a sink, kettle, toaster, and microwave but not a stove. Superior and above have a cooktop and basic pantry supplies. A supermarket sits on the same square, and several cafés and bakeries open early for breakfast. Evening meals are available at the many restaurants clustered around the square and surrounding streets - from pizza to tapas and Italian. The kitchen equipment includes a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, cookware, and utensils, making self-catering practical.

Leisure options centre on the neighbourhood itself. El Born is filled with winding streets, boutique shops, art galleries, and cafés. The rooftop terrace provides an outdoor space for relaxation, with views over the historic rooftops. Parc de la Ciutadella is a five-minute walk away, ideal for jogging or picnics. Free entry to the Barcelona Egyptian Museum is included. There is no gym, pool, sauna, or wellness area.

Reception is open from 10:30 to 18:30 (closes at 17:00 on Wednesdays). Self-check-in via code is available for arrivals outside those hours - must be requested 48 hours in advance. Luggage storage is free before check-in and after check-out until 18:00. A security deposit (typically €350) is refunded after departure. Express and private check-in/out is offered. The building has a lift. Daily housekeeping is not included; towels are changed only after the sixth night, and apartment cleaning does not occur during short stays. A washing machine and dryer are available in the building (shared use). The property is entirely non-smoking. CCTV operates in common areas.
