The historic centre is about 3 km away, reachable by car in 10 minutes or by a bus that stops virtually outside the hotel (bus runs every 30 minutes on weekdays, less frequently at weekends). Taxis to the centre cost around €13. The location is ideal for exploring Tuscany by car, with easy access to Florence (70 km by train or car) and other hill towns. The immediate area is quiet and surrounded by nature, but a highly-rated pizzeria is within a few hundred metres, and several other restaurants are a short drive away.
