AFFITTACAMERE AMBRA, Bologna

The property sits on a busy main road equidistant from the train station and the historic core - roughly 10 minutes on foot to both. Piazza Maggiore is 11 minutes away, Via dell'Indipendenza is 4 minutes, and MAMbo is under 1 km. Bus stops right outside provide links across the city, and the bus for Unipol Arena departs from the central station. The immediate street is busy, not scenic, but the area remains well-lit and feels safe in the early evening. Parking costs €24 per day at a nearby public garage, so car-free travel is more practical.

Rooms are modern, clean, and offer enough space for luggage and moving around - some can comfortably accommodate three people. Each double has a private bathroom with a shower, bidet, and hairdryer. Features include air conditioning, heating, soundproof walls (effective between rooms but less so from the hallway), tiled floors, a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, and a work desk. Windows face the street and provide city views. The old-style lift serves the third-floor building. Free coffee, tea, and still/sparkling water are available in the common area, along with a communal refrigerator.

Wi-Fi is fast and free, with speeds up to 444 Mbps suitable for 4K streaming and video calls. Luggage storage is available before check-in and after checkout, making it easy to explore without bags. Daily housekeeping is included. The building has 24-hour security, CCTV in common areas, and key-card access. The adults-only policy and soundproofed rooms support a quiet stay. Check-in and check-out are handled via advance communication, and the contact-free process works well. There is no reception, but staff are responsive by message.
