Location

Affittacamere Medusa sits on a quiet street in the heart of Florence, within a 5-10 minute walk of the Duomo, Accademia Gallery and Piazza della Signoria.

The guest house occupies a tranquil side street just off the tourist trail, yet all major sights are reachable on foot: the Duomo is 5 minutes, the Uffizi Gallery 1 km, and the Accademia less than 1 km. The surrounding Santa Croce neighbourhood offers a genuine local feel with numerous restaurants, bars and a supermarket nearby. Florence Airport is 10 km away, and the main train station is easily walkable. Public parking is available 100 metres from the property for €25/day, making it a practical choice for those arriving by car.

Accommodation

Rooms are spacious and airy with high wooden ceilings, private bathrooms, and either garden or courtyard views.

Each unit includes a private bathroom with shower, bidet and hairdryer, plus free toiletries. The double rooms are well sized with comfortable beds, wardrobes and work desks. The suite offers extra space and its own coffee machine. Although air conditioning is not fitted, ceiling fans and the building's thick walls keep rooms cool even in summer. Rooms overlooking the inner courtyard are particularly quiet, while those facing the street may occasionally pick up evening noise. All rooms are non-smoking and have heating for cooler months.
