AFFITTACAMERE REGIO, Rome

The guest house sits in a central location, with Vittorio Emanuele Metro Station reachable in 8 minutes on foot and the Colosseum a 17-minute walk away. Rome's historic centre and major monuments such as Trevi Fountain are within a 20-minute walk, while the Vatican and Trastevere are best reached by public transport from Termini. The area around Termini is busy and provides easy access to restaurants, cafés, and a large supermarket, though the immediate streets can feel less comfortable late at night due to the presence of transient crowds. Rome Ciampino Airport is 14 km away, and Termini station connects directly to both airports by train and bus.

The property offers double rooms, single rooms, and twin rooms (via two doubles), all with private bathrooms. Some rooms open onto a balcony with city or inner courtyard views, while others face a quieter street. Room size tends to be compact but functional, with a comfortable bed, small refrigerator, and wardrobe. Renovations are recent, and rooms are cleaned every two days with towel changes. Noise can travel through internal walls and doors, and street-facing rooms are more exposed to outside noise, so rooms overlooking the inner courtyard are preferable for lighter sleepers. The property is located on the fifth floor and is accessible via a lift.

WiFi is free throughout the property. The lift provides access to all floors, though it has been known to malfunction occasionally. Reception is staffed daily but not 24 hours; late check-in must be arranged in advance. Luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out if pre-arranged with the host, and in some cases the host has allowed guests to use a room to freshen up. Housekeeping is provided every two days with towel changes. The property uses key access for security. There is no on-site parking, and no airport shuttle service. An invoice is provided upon request.
