La Macchina del Tempo is a 5-minute walk away, and Santo Stefano Church is 700 metres from the property. The surrounding streets are lively with bars, restaurants, and student activity, which can be lively at night. The location has excellent pedestrian access, but the car-free university zone means vehicles cannot reach the building directly.

Sleeping arrangements include the double sofa bed, and the apartment is rated as spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stovetop, refrigerator, oven, microwave, and tea and coffee maker. Air conditioning and a washing machine are standard. Bathrobes, free toiletries, and soft towels are provided. The unit has a seating and dining area, ironing facilities, and electric kettle. Cots are available upon request. The apartment is on a lively street, but the air conditioning can cool the space effectively even in hot weather.

The kitchen has a stovetop, oven, microwave, refrigerator, and a dining area, making meal preparation simple. The property does not have its own restaurant or breakfast service, but the surrounding university area is dense with dining options. Within 0.3-0.5 km there are pizzerias, Italian restaurants, and eateries such as Ristorante TianTian, Malerba, Berbere, Delizioso, and Osteria dell'Orsa. The host provides a small welcome breakfast set in some cases, which is a helpful start.

Beyond the apartment, the location provides easy access to Bologna's landmarks and cultural attractions, including MAMbo, Archiginnasio di Bologna, and Santa Maria della Vita. The property does not include a pool, spa, or gym. The area is well-suited for walking, with the historic centre and its towers and piazzas all reachable on foot.
