AIRPORT GUESTHOUSE, Sydney

The homestay is 2 km from Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport, putting the International terminal within easy reach on foot. The route is flat and follows a dedicated walkway, making it manageable even with rolling luggage. For the Domestic terminal, catch the free inter-terminal shuttle from International, then walk 19 minutes. A short Uber is an alternative, as there is no direct public transport from the airport. Central Station is 9 km away, and the Sydney Opera House is 21 km. Nearby conveniences include Woolworths (10-minute walk), 7-Eleven (5-minute walk), and several dining options within 1 km, such as Rocca and Junction Espresso Bar.

Rooms range from single and double to a family room (with one double and two single beds, in the air-conditioned family room). All rooms include a comfortable mattress, quality pillows and linen, a work desk, and power points near the bed. Selected rooms feature a private bathroom with bath and shower; shared-bathroom rooms share one well-maintained bathroom among up to four rooms. Each room has a washing machine, tea and coffee maker, and parquet flooring. Extra touches include a welcome letter and chocolate on arrival. The shared areas are a well-equipped kitchen (stovetop, fridge, dishwasher, utensils, free coffee) and a lounge with TV and Netflix. The property has a garden and outdoor seating. Road-facing rooms are quiet given the location's proximity to the airport.

The shared kitchen is fully equipped with a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, cookware, and utensils, plus complimentary coffee. There is no restaurant or breakfast service on site, but numerous eateries are within a 1 km walk, including Rocca, Junction Espresso Bar, Discovery Point Cafe, VN Street Foods, Meat, Greet & Sweet, and Shanghai Fried Dumpling. Woolworths supermarket is also a 10-minute walk for groceries. For those seeking a cooked breakfast, the nearby Novotel offers an airport shuttle and breakfast for a fee.

Wi-Fi is free in all rooms. Private on-site parking costs AUD 40 per day and must be reserved in advance. Free luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out. Express check-in/out and a private check-in/out service are standard. The property has 24-hour access via a secure lock-box. Safety features include key access, CCTV, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers. Additional amenities include ironing facilities, a washing machine, and dryer. No pets allowed. No smoking on site. A cot can be provided if requested.
