The area is well-connected by public transport, making it convenient for car-free exploration, though parking is limited and paid.

Accommodation ranges from shared dormitories to private double and twin rooms. Bottom bunks have privacy curtains. All ensuite double and twin rooms include a private toilet, shower, sink, TV, refrigerator, kettle, and free tea and coffee. Some rooms have a DVD player. Dormitory rooms have lockers assigned per bed and a fridge. Rooms are in a refurbished Victorian building; no rooms have balconies. Quadruple rooms have shared bathrooms. Fans are provided in lieu of air conditioning. No hanging space for clothes, but a laundry room with an iron and dryer is available.

The hostel provides a free continental breakfast every morning from 8-10 am, featuring cereal, fruit, bread, and spreads. No gluten-free options. Free dinners are offered on Monday (Mexican), Thursday (Pasta), and Saturday (BBQ), with a weekly BBQ. No lunch service is available. There is a large shared kitchen for self-catering, and free tea and coffee are always available in the communal kitchen. No restaurant or bar on-site. Numerous restaurants, including Holm Cafe and Pizza Boccone, are within a 0.3-0.5 km walk.

The hostel offers free unlimited Wi-Fi in all rooms and common areas. Reception is open 9 am-8 pm, with a night manager on duty overnight. Luggage storage is free until 7 pm on check-out day.
