About the Hotel

5 Piazzale Luigi Emanuele Corvetto, Milan, 20139-
Steps from Corvetto Metro Station

Key Highlights

Three-minute walk to the M3 metro station, providing easy access to Duomo, Milano Centrale, and Milan Linate Airport (within 6 km).

Lowest budget price point in Milan - suitable for short overnight stays or work trips where cost is the primary factor.

Free Wi-Fi in all rooms and a shared kitchen available for guest use.

24/7 staff presence, secure key-card access, and full-day CCTV for basic security.

Rooms with private bathrooms and air conditioning (pay-per-use) available alongside standard shared-facility options.

Hotel Details

Location

Located 3 km from Porta Romana Metro Station and 6 km from Milan Linate Airport, with the M3 metro just 3 minutes on foot.
The hotel sits on a main road near the M3 (yellow) metro line, which connects to Duomo in 10-15 minutes and to Milano Centrale for regional and airport trains. Several restaurants, cafés, and a Carrefour supermarket are within walking distance. The immediate area is functional rather than picturesque, with some lively street activity at night. On-street parking is free but competitive - once parked, the metro makes a car unnecessary for city-centre visits.

Accommodation

Air-conditioned rooms (AC at extra cost) with private or shared bathrooms, each featuring a shower, wardrobe, and tiled floor.
Rooms are compact and basic - described as a budget fit for sleeping only, with older furniture, thin walls, and varying cleanliness. Road-facing rooms suffer from street noise; rooms away from the road are quieter. Air conditioning costs €10/night (cash at reception). Some windows do not close fully, and in summer rooms can become very warm without AC. Bed comfort is basic; multiple guests per room may find the space tight. Shared bathrooms on each floor serve several rooms and can be worn, but some rooms have a private bathroom with lockable door.

Dining

No on-site restaurant or breakfast service; a shared kitchen and vending machines are available for self-catering.
The hotel provides a shared kitchen for preparing simple meals and drinks, plus vending machines for snacks and cold drinks. Numerous cafés, pizzerias, and supermarkets are a short walk away: Pizzeria del Sole (0.5 km), Gelateria-Bar L'Oasi Del Gelato (0.5 km), and a Carrefour nearby. The area also has a Torrefazione for coffee and a Trattoria Cinese for sit-down meals. Packed lunches can be ordered from reception for day trips.

Leisure

A garden terrace, picnic area, and games room provide outdoor and indoor leisure space.
The property has a garden terrace and outdoor seating area with picnic tables, plus an indoor children's play area and games room with board games. A hairdresser/beautician is available on site (service at extra charge). Walking tours can be arranged through reception at an additional cost. The hotel is not a leisure destination - these are basic facilities for a break between city explorations.

Amenities

Free Wi-Fi, shared kitchen, 24-hour reception, luggage storage (fee), and express check-in/out.
The 24-hour front desk has staff who are helpful during standard check-in but can be curt or unavailable during late-night hours. Luggage storage is available at an additional charge - useful for early arrivals or late departures. Daily housekeeping is available for a fee. The hotel has CCTV and full-day security, and keys operate electronic access. Lockers are provided for securing personal items. A minimarket on site sells essentials, and an ATM/cash machine is on the premises. Fax/photocopying is available for business needs at extra cost.

Critical Operational Notes

  • Late check-in after 20:00 incurs a €20 extra fee (cash, paid on arrival); after midnight the fee rises to €40.
  • Air conditioning costs €10/night (cash, pay at reception for the remote control).
  • Guests must leave the room key at reception every time they exit the building - upon return, staff must let you in.
  • Check-in: 15:00, Check-out: 10:30. Late departure or luggage storage after check-out may carry an extra charge.
  • No parking is available on-site - cars park on the surrounding streets (free but limited spots).
  • Pets are not allowed.

Top Strategic Tips

  • 01

Arrive during the 15:00-20:00 check-in window to avoid late fees - arrivals after 20:00 incur an extra charge, even with 24-hour reception.

  • 02

Request a room facing away from the street if you are sensitive to night noise, as road-facing rooms suffer from traffic and pedestrian sounds.

  • 03

Plan for cash on arrival - late check-in fees and the air-conditioning deposit (€10/night) are cash-only and not included in online payment.

  • 04

Use the nearby M3 metro line (yellow, 3 minutes on foot) for quick access to Duomo and Milano Centrale, and avoid relying on hotel parking - there is none.
