ALOHAMUNDI CATEDRAL, Seville

The location is the property's strongest asset - a quiet street inside the Jewish quarter yet only 500 metres from La Giralda and the Cathedral, 9 minutes from the Royal Alcázar, 700 metres from Barrio Santa Cruz, and 700 metres from Plaza de Armas and Triana Bridge (2 km each). Plaza de España and Maria Luisa Park are a pleasant 2 km walk. The architecture of the building is a highlight, and the street is calm enough for a good night's sleep. The road is narrow: taxis may not enter, so plan to walk with luggage from the edge of the quarter. Parking is unavailable on-site; the nearest free spot is around the railway station (20 minutes on foot). Seville Airport is 11 km away.

The apartments are spacious and spread across a living room, 2 separate bedrooms and 1 bathroom with bath/shower. The kitchens are fully fitted with a stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, oven, electric kettle, tea/coffee maker and dining table - ideal for self-catering. Air-conditioning units are effective and central, a real benefit during Seville's heatwaves. The apartments also include a washing machine, ironing facilities and a flat-screen TV. The master bedroom beds are very large and comfortable, although some units use a French balcony (not a true standing balcony) and a few rooms have a triple single-bed configuration instead of a double. Mattresses are generally good, but a small number of units have older, worn-out mattresses. The property is a historic building with no handrails on the steps leading to the bedrooms, which can be a hazard during night-time bathroom trips. The shared rooftop terrace offers Giralda views and evening sun, though some furniture on the terrace is in need of repair.

The property does not operate a restaurant or bar, so all meals must be self-prepared in the kitchen or eaten out. The kitchen is equipped with a hob, microwave, fridge, oven, kettle and dining table, making it easy to prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner. For those who prefer to eat out, a range of dining options - including Osteria L'Oca Giuliva, San Marco Barrio Santa Cruz, Taberna Belmonte and La Sacristia de Sevilla - are all within 0.5 km. The location is also surrounded by shops and cafés. Breakfast availability is not consistent across all units and should be confirmed at booking.
