The property sits in the safest and most walkable part of Puerto Vallarta, between Los Muertos Beach and the Lazaro Cardenas bar area. The beach access is a 30-second walk down the block, and the Los Muertos Pier is a few steps away. Dozens of restaurants, cafes, grocery stores and a pharmacy are within 0.5 km. The Lic. Gustavo Diaz Ordaz Airport is 11 km away - a taxi or rideshare is the easiest connection. Parking is nearly impossible on-site, so a car is unnecessary once you arrive. The area is pedestrian-friendly and feels safe at all hours.

There is no restaurant or meal service at Amapas Apartments. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen - stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, cookware and utensils - making self-catering easy. Basic provisions like dish soap and a sponge are provided. For supplies, an Oxxo convenience store is right downstairs, and a supermarket is a short walk. The surrounding Zona Romantica offers dozens of restaurants, from casual cafes to upscale dining, all within 0.5 km. If you prefer cooking, the kitchen has the essentials but bring your own cooking oil, salt and pepper. There is no table or desk in studio units, so eating at the dining table is possible in larger apartments only.

The small outdoor swimming pool is open year-round and located on the rooftop terrace. The pool itself is compact and the water temperature can be warm, but the surrounding sun deck and terrace offer loungers, umbrellas and a spectacular vantage point for sunset over Banderas Bay. The view includes the Los Muertos Pier and the ocean. There is no spa or gym on site. The nearby beach is the main leisure option, with direct access half a block away - note that the property does not provide beach umbrellas or loungers, but these are available for rent on the beach.

Free Wi-Fi is available but only works reliably in the bedroom area, not in the living room or balcony. There is no parking on-site, and the street parking in the area is extremely limited - a taxi or rideshare is the best option. The building has three floors and no elevator. Luggage storage is available during office hours (10:00-19:00). The office can store bags before check-in or after check-out, though early/late check-in or check-out is not available. The staff (Laszlo and team) are on-site during reception hours and are known for being friendly and helpful, including helping with luggage. Pets are allowed on request (small, well-behaved, one per unit) with a refundable damage deposit. The property is non-smoking inside, but smoking is allowed on the balcony with doors closed (not possible in studio units). There is no laundry service for guests.
