HOLIDAY INN EL PASO WEST - SUNLAND PARK BY IHG, El Paso

The hotel is situated right off Interstate 10, giving quick car access to downtown El Paso (10 km), the airport (21 km), and nearby shopping and dining. Sunland Park Racetrack & Casino is just under 3 km away, and the El Paso Museum of Art is 10 km from the property. Multiple restaurants - including Toro Burger Bar, Tony's Gorditas, Don Carbon, P.F. Chang's, and Red Lobster - are within 1 km on foot or a short drive. A Walmart and several other stores are also nearby. The west-side location is considered safe and quiet at night, though the property itself can be confusing to navigate on arrival; ask for a map at check-in.

Accommodation is offered in a unique villa-style layout - rooms are in separate gated buildings with exterior doors requiring room key access. Room categories include standard double/king rooms, executive rooms with sofa beds, bi-level suites with a staircase, and ADA-compliant rooms with roll-in showers and grab bars. All rooms have private bathrooms, air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen TV, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Some suites include a sofa bed (full-size, pull-out) and additional living space. First-floor rooms are available. Many rooms have connecting doors with deadbolt locks. The style is functional and equipped for practical stays, with work desks and tea/coffee facilities in all rooms.

The outdoor swimming pool and hot tub are available year-round, though the pool is not heated. The pool area is open daily from 9:00 to 20:00. The fitness centre is free to use and has been described as clean and well-equipped. There is no spa or wellness centre on site. The property also has a minimarket for snacks and essentials, as well as outdoor furniture for relaxing. The pool is a popular feature, though its cleanliness has been inconsistent.

Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the property. Parking is free and on-site with accessible spaces; no reservation is needed. The 24-hour front desk can assist with luggage storage, dry cleaning (surcharge), and general requests. The business centre includes fax/photocopying and meeting/banquet facilities (surcharge). Other services include a vending machine, an ATM on site, safety deposit boxes, and laundry services (surcharge). A welcome drink is offered. The property has a lift, is non-smoking throughout, and is fully accessible for disabled guests. Pets are allowed on request with a $50 non-refundable fee. Housekeeping is provided only upon request and may not automatically service the room daily.
