Dam Square and Madame Tussauds are 3 km away, easily reachable by tram or a direct walk. Key attractions like the Rembrandt House Museum, the Flower Market, and Leidseplein are within a 20-minute stroll. The museum quarter, including the Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum, is very close. A supermarket is located across the street, and a wide range of bars, restaurants, and shops surround the property. Central Station is about a 30-minute walk or a short tram ride, making this an ideal base for both sightseeing and transport connections. For car users, public parking is available off-site at €6.50 per hour.

Accommodation consists of dormitory rooms and private rooms. Dormitories feature triple-stacked bunk beds in rooms that can hold up to 21 people. The beds themselves are small and narrow, with thin mattresses; upper bunks are very close to the ceiling. Private rooms are available with either bunk beds for two or three people, and some include a private bathroom with a shower and a balcony. Most rooms have a sink. There is no air conditioning, and ventilation can be poor; rooms may feel stuffy and warm. Noise from the corridors and other rooms is noticeable due to thin walls. Storage space is very limited: lockers are small, many are damaged, and there are no shelves or hooks. Charging points are scarce and not always near the bed. Overall, the accommodation is basic and compact, best suited for travellers who plan to spend minimal time in the room.

The hostel offers free coffee and tea each morning until noon, sometimes accompanied by a muffin. There are also vending machines on site for drinks and snacks. The shared kitchen contains a refrigerator and a microwave, but guests cannot cook as there is no stove, toaster, or cooking equipment. Plates, cutlery, and glasses are not provided. For a fuller meal, the surrounding area is filled with dining options, with numerous restaurants and bars within a 300-metre walk, including Brasserie Keyzer, Café Welling, and Restaurant CHANG-i. A supermarket across the street is also useful for self-catering supplies.

The property features a small garden where guests can sit, and bicycles can be stored. Leisure options are limited to socialising in the common areas or exploring the city. The hostel's location puts guests within a 20-minute walk of Leidseplein (for nightlife, shops, and entertainment) and the major museums. There is no on-site pool, spa, gym, or fitness area.
