The area is popular for cycling, and bike hire is available. Nearest dining includes Woods (0.5 km), Pont 13 Food & Drinks (1 km), 24/7 Burgerhouse (1 km) and Day and Night Pizza (1 km). The Westerpark district is 2 km. Because of the distance to the centre and limited shops nearby, a day trip means returning to the hotel mid-day is impractical without planning. The surroundings are safe and quiet, with minimal car noise and good water views.
