APARTEASY - CENTRAL BARCELONA STUDIO APARTMENT, Barcelona

The apartment is situated in a top-rated area (score 9.2) with direct access to public transport and numerous restaurants within 0.5 km, including Toyama Japanese, El Punto, and Bodega Monumental Carrer Marina. Landmarks like Casa Batllo, Passeig de Gracia, and La Pedrera are 2 km away. Nova Icaria Beach and the Picasso Museum are also reachable. The basement unit opens onto a light well and is adjacent to the building entrance and lift, so hallway activity - including cleaning from 5:00 AM - is clearly audible. Walkability is excellent, but the immediate noise environment means light sleepers should plan earplugs.

The studio includes a double bed (a pull-out sofa) and a set of bunk beds, plus a dining table, seating area, wardrobe, and a washing machine. The kitchen has a stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, and tea/coffee maker. The private bathroom features a translucent glass door, offering limited visual privacy. The main sofa bed is described as uncomfortable and noisy, while the bunk beds in the kitchen area are exposed to fridge noise throughout the night. Air conditioning and heating are present, but the basement location results in persistent dampness and a musty smell. The unit is best suited for short, undemanding stays where the central location outweighs comfort considerations.

Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the apartment. The property has a lift and is non-smoking throughout. Reception staff speak English, Spanish, French, Hungarian, Portuguese, Russian, and Chinese. Check-in is at 14:00 and check-out at 11:00. Keys must be collected from a separate location, not at the apartment itself. The apartment is cleaned only upon specific request; without prior arrangement, no housekeeping is provided during the stay. The lack of on-site parking and the basement setting mean guests arrive by foot or public transport, which is plentiful.
