ARCADE HOTEL & HOSTEL HAMBURG, Hamburg

The property is close to the A7 motorway, making it convenient for drivers. Stellingen underground and S-Bahn stations are a 15-minute walk away, and bus stops (e.g. Volksparkstrasse) are closer, with bus 392 providing direct access to the airport. The city centre can be reached in 30-40 minutes by public transport. Several restaurants (Tao 0.5 km, Innerluck 1 km, Restaurant Augila 1 km), a supermarket (Rewe), and Tierpark Hagenbeck are within walking distance. The Color Line arena, trade fair and congress centre are all within a 5-km radius, making the location practical for event-goers. The neighbourhood is quiet and residential, but the property is set back from the main road, offering a calm environment.

Standard rooms are compact but clean, with soundproofed walls, heating, a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle. Private bathrooms are available in most room types, while some budget rooms have a shower and washbasin in the room and a shared toilet in the hallway. The family room consists of two double bedrooms, a living room with a pantry kitchen and a seating area, and includes a private bathroom. Suites come with a full kitchen. Some rooms in the basement have a slightly musty smell and limited natural light, but still have windows. The decor is functional and basic - not modern, but well-maintained. Road-facing rooms may have some traffic noise; courtyard-facing rooms are quieter.

The breakfast buffet includes bread rolls, cheese, cold meats, eggs, yoghurt, fresh fruit and vegetables, coffee and tea. It is considered good value for the price and is served in a dedicated breakfast room. For other meals, there is no restaurant or bar on site, but a snack-bar area with vending machines (drinks and snacks) is available. A minimarket on site sells basic breakfast items. Several restaurants can be reached on foot (e.g. Tao at 0.5 km, Innerluck and Restaurant Augila at 1 km), and a supermarket (Rewe) is a few minutes' walk away.

Guests seeking leisure activities can use the outdoor furniture, sun terrace and garden for relaxation. The property's location near Tierpark Hagenbeck and the Barclays Arena (formerly Color Line) provides nearby entertainment options. For wellness, guests need to look outside the property, as no spa or fitness centre is offered.
