AR CANCUN PLAZA, Cancun

The property is directly on the beach, providing immediate sea access and morning walks along the shore. Cancún International Airport is 11 km away, reachable via a paid transfer (no free shuttle). The surrounding area includes several restaurants within a 5-minute walk, such as Casa del Mar, El Galeon del Caribe, and Cafe Solaris, plus an OXXO convenience store for essentials. Located in the lively Hotel Zone, the area offers easy access to public beaches and local attractions, but the building is an older residential condominium complex where some units are rented out.

All suites include a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, and cookware, plus free toiletries and a safety deposit box. Rooms are spacious and some have a tiled floor. Expect daily housekeeping with towel changes, though bed linen changes may require a request. The property is an older building and some areas show wear; room conditions can vary by unit. Sea views are common, but some rooms overlook a construction site or adjacent buildings rather than the pool or open sea. There are no dedicated balconies, though some rooms have a small balcony area with basic furniture. The lift provides access to higher floors, and wheelchair-accessible rooms are available.

Casa del Mar offers a varied menu including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with drinks and margaritas. The restaurant operates independently from the hotel and may add a 20% automatic service charge to bills. The snack bar provides light options. A minimarket on the premises stocks basic groceries and essentials for self-catering. Several nearby restaurants and cafés are within a short walk for additional meal choices, but the on-site dining is convenient for a full meal without leaving the property.

The large pool is open all year and features a pool with a view, pool/beach towels, and sun loungers. The private beach area provides direct access to the ocean, though seaweed may occasionally accumulate and is cleared by tractor. A public bath and paid massage services are available. Shade on the beach can be limited, so arriving early for loungers is recommended. There is a rooftop pool, but access may require a purchase from the rooftop restaurant.
